How do you go about job hunting to get interview calls?
I have been trying to switch for some months now and tired of applying on job portals with no response. I have references in only a couple of companies and they also haven't been helpful so far. I tried reaching out via LinkedIn to some folks asking for referrals at other places but mostly no one responds. I reached out to recruiters, however it looks like they hire only for service based startups. How to apply to get interview atleast?

Hello there. I have been interviewing with Okta and got through all 5 rounds of interviews. They say they want to offer me the job but there is a global freeze for all marketing roles at the company. Manufactruing process improvements tips - for interview prep what all points one should say ?

Anyone else frustrated with the lack of follow through from potential employers? I have had two companies undercut my ability to have an equal chance to compete for a role. One company kept telling me a second interview would happen in a few weeks. Nothing for 3 months even with my check ins. To just find out the role was filled. Another company flat out said they couldn’t find my application (in their system where it was attached to job req number) and filled the role.

Any recruiters on here who have never reached out about a job and then not followed up? Asking for an industry.

Why the heck do Recruiters and Hiring managers do such a poor job keeping applicants informed to the status. I had my time wasted with an opportunity for a fortune 100 position for 3 1/2 months. Phone Screens, Zoom Interview with hiring manager, Face to face with hiring manager. (Then asked for professional references) , impromptu Zoom meet with other leader who was completely disengaged. Then boom... six weeks of silence vague texts from hiring manager they were still going thru the process..

when enquired over call they said you have cleared the first round..HR wil call back for the next step

It's been more than 15 days
Any idea when I might get a call ? Or should I start checking other opportunities ?
