Also, what do you prefer WFH or WFO?

Just got a job at Deloitte M&A in Atlanta and am currently looking to buy a house. Would you advise I buy closer to Atlanta or the suburbs? I personally want to be in the suburbs but I hear the traffic situation is quite bad. Current consultants in Atlanta, how much time do you actually spend in the office vs remote vs client site? Would you advise I try and stay closer to the office?

It’s a little disconcerting that some firms and companies are so against posting salary information up front. Almost like they are committed to underpaying some of their employees or something. Weird.
If they’re already complying with the law, I don’t think it would be a barrier to allowing remote workers. And for organizations that point to the equal pay for equal work act as the reason they won’t hire Colorado workers, it really makes you wonder why they’re so opposed 🤔
ETA: I think there is a delay for some places to make sure they are complying, but they may just have to verify that they are meeting the requirements.

Exactly, OP. What a shi**y law. Definitely don’t want to prohibit those gender based pay discrepancies and related practices that perpetuate those discrepancies. What are those commies thinking?

AA, check out that other thread I linked. You and more importantly your clients desperately some help with improved critical thinking. In particular your analogies are poor. Black jurists can be great, fair, or poor thinkers, just like anyone else can be a great, fair, or poor thinker. AT selects what it publishes precisely because it’s editors hold a very specific worldview. And tolerate no diversity of thought whatsoever. And more importantly good conservative thinkers — of whom there are many - don’t publish on AT because they don’t want to be associated with a trash publication. In every sense it’s the same reason that George Will and Jonah Goldberg don’t write for The National Enquirer or KKK Weekly. As a result, AT publishes an exceptionally narrow worldview expressed by people who literally cannot find any other outlet that will accept their work. It’s a perfect storm of incoherence and misinformation produced by dopes for dopes. No serious person reads it and nobody who relies on an AT articulate is going to be taken seriously by anyone. Find a decent source and we can talk. Otherwise I’m done with the debate.
