I don't think it is hard at all. They are out there. You must be honest and truthful with yourself and know what you are looking for in terms of salary, job title, and job capacity.
It depends. The higher you get, the fewer daily tasks you have to do. As you have your subordinates do the job, you can have a getaway week(s)/time off. But just like every other industry, you’ll take on more responsibility, esp when it comes to making decisions or solving problems.
On the contrary, hours don't get better. The higher you get the more responsive you're expected to be
It is hard. That's the reality. But don't worry, it is not impossible. You just need to have a little luck and faith.
Actually, I find it hard. It's like trial and error. If wlb is not great, then you move to another.
