NCES collects data looking at compensation between these groups -- it seems like in general traditional public school employees are actually paid the best, with both public charter schools paid second best, and private school teachers paid the least. Here’s a table that summarizes some NCES data:

That said, certainly see a lot of variability in each category. There are also other conflating factors such as experience level, and other benefits available to teachers.
I don’t know of any good studies that look at differences in homeownership rates, but having worked with teachers in all three categories, my sense is that in very expensive communities, access to homeownership is a pretty pervasive problem. If you come across any studies that look at homeownership rates across these groups, I’d love to take a look!
