Anyone has idea on it? Was told i will move to payroll of pnc after 2 years in cgi. What is this thing? I didn't understand.

Is there a point in reaching out to HR if I am being mentally tortured in the project. My project manager has cancelled my leaves which I planned 2 months in advance and approved for the person who is very close to him (Chaatu). Will the HR help me here or start giving me gyaan about company policies.

I am a consultant working in one of the big 4. I have got a call from DE Shaw HR for a role in their Project Finance and Investment Research team focusing on Energy sector? Being an MBA in Finance graduate, I am in a dilemna on which path might be better I the long run -consulting (where I am more of a generalist, taking up random asks from clients and onshore stakeholders) or Project Finance & M&A where role might be more specific.

Got ibm offer but it's a different location from my city and they said its banking project so have to report to office soon. Any options to get role / project in my city itself without losing this offer ?

Will there be a conflict of interest if I join the client company? If so after how many months of resigning from PwC can I work for the client company?
I checked my offer letter and no where they have mentioned about the conflict of interest policy.

Had my 2nd interview with the hiring manager this past Friday & sent a thank you shortly after. It's now Tuesday (for those who see this on another day). At the end of the interview he said they've had other people who were interested but only one other person besides me were they considering. Said he would talk to his team and possibly have me fly out to meet in person. How long should I wait to follow up without seeming pushy?
