Is it a red flag if during an interview the partner asks how your billable hours were last year? Could be just a standard question but I wasn’t sure.. I’ve never been asked that before in interviews.

I recently got hike in my current organisation from 5 to 7.5 lpa ctc and in that month itself deloitte is offering me 10.5 fixed 1.5-2 lacs variable on my new ctc. Which is 40 % hike.

What do you think ? I did asked for 60% hike. HR is not listening. I don’t have any other offers as of now.

Job base salary presented by HR during screening interview was $130-$145k. I have 3-5 years more experience and more education compared to the posting requirements (BA required, I have a MS). I am an Indian citizen, but I work in Europe. I have an offer with the US counterpart of my firm. Given the current travel ban from Europe and additional NIE requirements from Europe, it doesn't seem advisable to apply for a L1A from Europe.

In this case, will I be eligible to apply from India, because of my citizenship? How long does it take on average for a L1 visa process when applied from India? Any advice?
