Hi, I was interviewed for Capgemini invent India and got selected. Nowhere in the offer letter or in the email have they mentioned 'Capgemini invent'. The company name used is Capgemini Technology services. Is this the general practice? TIA
Anyone have a strategy consulting cover letter they wouldn’t mind sharing that I could reference while creating mine for this job I’m applying for?
What is the difficulty level of an experienced analyst BA interview at McKinsey & Company? Super nervous and my phone eval is scheduled 2 weeks out. Any tips would be super helpful!
What’s the standard/bar like for passing the first round at McKinsey? I felt like I did fine but not in terms of the graphs interpretation. I had my Bain interview prior as well and I didn’t realize how different these two companies’ cases would be. If I didn’t perform well in a certain aspect of the case (ie graph interpretation) for both cases but did fine the other aspects and pei, what are my chances of passing looking like? I know at this point I cannot do much about it, but still curious
I’m at the references stage of interviews so I reached out to a former partner I worked for to see if he would be ok with me listing him as a reference. He agreed, but also asked whether I would come back and work for them. Would it still be weird to list them as a reference?
For those who got an interview from Wharton, did you use an admission consultant? Was it a game changer?

Any recent grads quit without anything lined up? I'm a recent grad and only have 1.5 YOE but I'm feeling so burnt out and never want to come back to consulting. I have several first/second round interviews and recruiters reaching out but still am worried I'm bailing too soon (for other exits). How do you know the job isn't worth it?
Anyone here working in Kinaxis Inc. willing to discuss an opportunity I'm interested in applying for? Or a LinkedIn referral to a helpful friend working in Kinaxis Inc. would be great too!
Began the interview process at FB for a automation specialist role. Currently in TR. Can anyone give me an idea of what their interview process was like? Also, what skills/experiences do they like to see in candidates?
Thank you notes after an interview with ECD / GCD / whoever the final decision maker is - are these done still? Haven't interviewed in a long time and unsure of it's still important (I'm freelance).
How long between official offer extended and acceptance of the offer is accepted if you have other companies you are interviewing with?
How long do I wait until following up after an interview? About 24 hours after the first interview with a recruiter, they reached out about moving me through. It’s been a week after interviewing with some people on the team and I realized I never got a timeline of when to expect to hear back. Should I reach out or is this normal?
Looking for: Corporate Strategy role (something big picture - growth / digital) at Retail or CPG company. Have: 2 years Strategy Experience at ACN and strong academic background. Receiving any negative/constructive feedback scares the sh*t out of me. I had a toxic previous job experience with a manager who used any small thing as a means to scare me out of employment. Now at my new place of employment, if I do get a constructive comment or something to work on, a lot of anxious thoughts run through my mind until I can somehow calm down and go back to working somewhat productively again - but I always have that fear of being fired over it. 😔
Is it possible to use the Amex gift cards (Cathy cash, applause awards) to trade in a brokerage account? I'm guessing the answer is no. Curious if anyone has made it work.

How do you teach a 4 yo when they start to lie? Today, my kid quickly put his lunch back into his box when his teachers turned around and lied to his teachers that he finished his food. They were even praising him on how quickly he finished his lunch today. And told us also that he finished all his food as well.
First time switching jobs and need advice for what to do with my 401k. My new employer has a different 401k provider, and I don’t want to just hold on to the small 401k from old employer. What should I do?
Staffed on an impossible project that will likely doom to fail. Project budget and time both cut in half from original forecast. What to do? Why are we forced to sign sht contracts like this? Start looking for a new job?
Deloitte: I see there is an HR policy that allows you to go 60-80% whenever you want to/in any role so long as there is a business case. Does this ever happen in consulting? Is it more likely to be approved in certain groups/with certain skills? I’m thinking it might be feasible to stay here if I could could go on a reduced schedule after baby 2. If that’s something I could work towards and prepare for in the year or so prior, I’d like to set myself up well for it! Any insight is appreciated!
The year is 2023 and the ad agency you started has made the list of top creative agencies. Your company allows for remote work but the agency also has a physical location as the main office. What city would you have your office located in and why?
Hoping to get some perspective here. What would you all expect TC to be for a general manager position (full P&L ownership) of a $40M business line. Industry is e-commerce CPG for reference. Thanks!
I’m a pretty anxious person and I’ve realized that a remote work environment only makes me more so - not being able to read people’s tone well, email/ping responses being more delayed than they would be in a conversation, the awkwardness of virtual meetings, etc. I’m in therapy and will discuss this there but would love to hear some tips about how people manage work anxiety specifically in a remote consulting environment.
When is the right time to tell people you’re going on paternity leave? Is 3 months in advance sufficient notice?
With all the diversity programs, why don't agencies just stop hiring or promoting white men?
I have a holiday party with my group at work (small group of 20) and their plus ones. I invited the girl I'm seeing and she said yes. I want to bring her and show her off, and plus, she's a great conversationalist. We're seeing each other exclusively but haven't dtr'ed. I'm also new to this group so I haven't really come out to anyone yet because it hasn't come up in conversation. How would you introduce her? Are people gonna ask a bunch of questions if I just say "this is X?"
