How long do you spend in meetings every week? Do you get anything useful out of them? I calculated it yesterday, and I spent 26 hours this week in meetings, most of which resulted in a let’s circle back. We are paralyzing our own productivity by demanding alignment on every tiny detail instead of just trusting people to do their jobs. I’m tempted to start declining any invite that doesn't have a clear agenda.

What is a starting salary for a senior consultant that does energy transformation consulting at other consulting companies? I know GH underpays lower than market, but I’m having a hard time gauging how much more. Not enough reports on Glassdoor for my company and city. Please mention YOE and whether you live in a city with a higher COL. Senior consultant is equivalent to the next level up after entry level at GH.
