What is the culture like, type of work and reputation of Capco in the Data & Analytics space?
I have some good ex colleagues who moved over there and also looked up on LinkedIn and see lots of seemingly smart and accomplished people in their D&A team in the UK.
I'll ask my ex colleagues too, but wanted to see if people here have any opinion or information on this too.
TIA

I think FSO makes more after first year.
Broker dealers are typically audited by bcm but have seen wam teams do them as well
And obviously everyone looking won't be leaving, but it's definitely that time of year where a lot of people quit in order to get out before busy season.
As far as I know, YES.
I could be mistaken
Does ey fso audit broker-dealers and which of the three groups would they be in? (Example WAM)
Depends on what product the broker deals with. There are insurance broker dealers as well.
FSO does not make more until later senior years. I'm currently a senior and there has been no difference in salary with no FSO counterparts in northeast.
What about prop firms market makers and investment banks?
BCM - banking and capital markets. Are you looking to make the switch to FSO? Because if you're in NYC, don't do it!
I've been thinking about it. Why not NYC and are they as busy as Wam or will I be unassigned for months on end like some peeps on FB?
I haven't heard of people being unassigned in either of those groups at the senior and above level. October/November exodus should be starting soon so you would be really overworked. What service line are you in?
Audit. Great Lakes.
WAM is understaffed and BCM has ridiculous busy seasons. 80% of the seniors I know in FSO NYC are actively leaving.
That's crazy. So your advice is don't transfer to EY FSO. Lol.
Is it the same in chi?
As a senior.
I work in FSO NYC and there are a lot of job options in the city so there's a lot less reason to stay when you can make 100k and work way less. People from Chicago seem happier in general, but that would be a limited sample.
Thanks so much for the advise!
