Hi All,
Looking to make the move from working in industry to big4 and was curious as to what level and pay I might be worth?
I have 10 years experience out of uni, as well as completed CPA and MBA. I have a experience in managing entire finance function of small/medium entities, but most notably solid corporate finance experience/strategy leading refinance exercises, debt raising, hedging/treasury strategy etc…Would be looking for something in deal advisory / M&A / CFO advisory etc….thanks Deloitte EY PwC @
Hi! I just accepted a Relationship Banker II role in Allen, TX. My offer letter was 50k base and 1k guaranteed commission a month first year. I just graduated w a degree in Business Administration. Basically the info I got on how commission works was pretty vague. Anyway I wanted to see what someone I’m their 1st or 2nd year can realistically expect to on average make in commission a year in this role. Also what do bonuses in the role look like? I’m hoping to just hear some ballpark numbers! JPMorgan Chase JPMorgan Chase

Depends on the industry. I’m starting to get referrals from relationships I started 10+ years ago in law school, and relationships I started 6 months ago. Other business I inherited from a retiring partner and have built the personal trust over 8+ years, and some is new referrals from other partners in my firm who rely on me as their go-to transactional person.
I agree 100%. It's totally dependent on the business you're in. It's very tough to say what's a good book and what isn't without knowing the specific niche area of law and the prevailing rates.
Echoing the other partners. Depends on practice area, size/horsepower of firm and geographic market. What city are you in?
It’s different at every firm. My firm requires around $500k in originations to make partner

Your reputation must be very important to you,as how you see yourself, how you think is how others will see you
The word of mouth is how you build your clients
Networking would be my second choice ' connect with individuals that are in similar business, refer them clients you don't want and they will think of you when they will have a client that mind need your knowledge
