Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.

Hi guys, Now VMware is offering me a 35% percent hike of what I am earning at DellEmc. I just completed one year at DellEmc. Total 2.7YOE But I don't like to go out of Dell, due to some personal commitments I am planning to switch.
Is it a good time to switch?
Can I talk with my manager ?
Are they able to hike the salary of what VMware is offering? Please suggest me.

It depends on the company and their process. I’ve received an offer after a week, and with others it’s been as long as several months. If they didn’t give you any indication of an expected delivery timeframe for your offer letter, then you can always send an email to your recruiter, hiring manager, or whoever your contact was to follow up.
It really depends on the company. Every company has their own timeline for these types of things. Be patient. Good luck.
As others have said, it varies. If you haven't heard from them in two weeks, send a *polite* message to the recruiter and/or hiring manager.
Things that can happen:
* The recruiter leaves and you fall through the cracks
* Everything pauses during the year-end holiday season
For me it took 2 days, but depends on how big/corporate the company is.
