After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Five years is long enough. People used to have careers at one company, but those days are long gone. Now we're all expendable, and we should look at employers as always being expendable. If they don't perform for us, move on to something better.
What then happens to your employer 401k contribution?
For me usually about 3-4 years without promotion / lateral pivoting is time to “shake things up”.
It depends on your satisfaction and priorities in life. If you’re happy with your job, pay, colleagues and boss, why move? That’s my situation now, and I have young kids. So I decided to stay at my current role for longer.
If we want to move, make sure that your next step is clearly better.
Shake it up, baby! Seriously, I am loyal to a fault and get comfortable easily. Until I made a jump, I didn't realize how underpaid I was. Unfortunately, there is no love in loyalty. As the economy changes and progresses, starting salaries rise while those already hired will typically receive their 2-3% merit raises. Trust me, it is unfortunate. One of my colleagues has been with the company for 30 years and has far more experience than myself. I started with the same title but came in well over her salary, bonus, merit raise eligibility, etc. I only know this because I now manage the team.
Would definitely encourage you to shake things up and try something new. If it doesn’t work out, you can always land another FP&A role since you have a solid background in that. Better than remaining stagnant.
Most people agree that 5 years is a good time to start looking for a new job.
I’m of the personal belief that after 3 years I’m not seriously being considered for a promotion, it’s time to look at all options (internally or externally).
Too long in a role as in not getting promoted? Then I’d def move if there’s no sign within two years
Think about your personal life, how its going. In banking and finance we tend to put those on hold far to long.
Once you hit a senior analyst level and you don’t have an advanced degree or certificate, you’re doing nothing to differentiate yourself. Unless, you’re in a golf league and making connections that way, which, IMO can only get you so far
Investment roles - CFA
Wealth/Sales - CFP
Business/Core Roles - MBA (or a few years of exp)
Depending on niche of your career path for the above three, there are more focused designations such as CAIA/CPWA that can help make you more marketable.
Doesn’t hurt to see what’s out there! Personally I check every few years just to make sure I’m not falling too far behind market in terms of comp etc (even if I don’t end up moving roles).
