At Amazon, what is the difference between a Program Manager and Technical Program Manager? It looks like the Technical one gets paid about 25% more but not sure what roles/responsibilities they do differently. Amazon
Also how technical a background does someone need for a Technical Program Manager role?

After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Like a boring back office job where you are given menial raises and are given performance ratings based on how well you are liked by management and if your job is currently adding value to the cost center.
Get your experience and move on if no promo in 3yrs or less.
Other Tips: goto Happy Hour with teammates, don’t expect wild holiday parties, take advantage of the programs they offer to not pigeon hole yourself, learn what part of the bank you actually want to work in, enjoy the resume boost, find the sleezy director and don’t be like him, use the ESPP out the gate; it is better than their 401k, make good connections with the people you work with. You will literally move on to other banks with them in other cities/states. 3 teammates I started with 10yrs ago in Delaware are now in Texas with me but all working at Goldman.
Most likely a lot of training courses introducing you to the company and their rules. It will also take long just to get all of the accesses required for your BAU.
Your reply spews JPM btw. You had me feeling like it was my first day all over again. ;)
