While applying for visa my company quoted 80K as compensation. Now they want to reduce it to 75K.

This feels like unfair practice. Is it common? What should be my approach?

Im on L1A visa with PwC and can apply for EB1C ( no PERM needed) after 1 year. Question is - if I want to switch companies, can new employer sponsor my GC. If yes, then can they apply for EB1C category too or only EB2 for which PERM is required?

Has anyone received a green card sponsorship from a biglaw firm? I am lateraling into a V50 firm and have been told sponsorship is evaluated on a case by case basis. Wanted to see if anyone had experience with this, it doesn’t seem that easy to qualify under the EB-2 category.

My manager today gave me a really difficult time because a work event conflicts with my vacation I’ve had planned for months. I just was notified last week about this event too and I haven’t taken any PTO since Dec 2021. Meanwhile, this manager has had several vacations and is about to take a month off for a wedding. It feels toxic and I don’t know whether to just move on or let HR know how uncomfortable this manager made me feel questioning if I can end my vacation early. Any advice?
