How many pages is your resume and how many YOE do you have?

I thought 1 page was still the standard for early/mid career, but the recent WSJ about AI screening out resumes that are too short is making me reconsider.

1.5ish pages.

I don’t care what anyone says about “you need to have one page only”.

It works and it works well (as long as you can write meaningful and impactful bullets and content in those 1.5 pages).

One page. 25 years including 15 as a partner. It’s a brevity test unless you’re in academics

like

1 page for every 10 years

like

I mean this in the most respectful way possible but you’re looking way too deep into it. Just start on page 2. Do a page if u have enough material, half page if not. 99% chance the length of your resume is not the issue

Always one page. 10+ years

25 YOE, one page.

Based on the comments, I need to scale down one page. Currently, at two pages with almost 15yo experience.

like

It means that if I have over 30 years of experience, I should not be looking for work anymore, as I can't realistically fit this track record on a page. Correct?

like

1 page, anything that occurred 10 years prior, I would include as a domain area... lengthy resumes are dated

like

1 page, 21 years experience

2 pages. 20 years

1 page, 30 years… but I just tell head hunters to look at my LinkedIn now. Zero interest in updating or maintaining a separate résumé

1 page, 25 years, if requested I can provide more details on specific projects, honestly nobody cares to look into what you did 5+ years ago

1 page with a 1 page project/deals list

When I applied to my current job a few years ago I was told I should have more than 1 page. It’s about 1.5 pages. I’m 42.

2.5 pages, 35 YOE. DAMN! I haven’t totaled it up in a while.

One page, 10+ years of experience

Hello Guys,

I joined
Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?

As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

I am a new joinee to CTS . It's going to be a month now and I haven't received my laptop.

I gave one interview for a project and was selected. They assigned me allocation but haven't reached out to me after that.

I am not sure whom to reach out to for any query and to some people whom reached they don't respond with any answer .

What can I do to get a working project as i don't want to sit idle?

Does anyone regret joining a boutique consulting firm? I signed with a startup out of college (spring 2020) whose founding partners were all partners/Sr leaders at a few T2s. Our firm is super small (dozen FTEs) but does really good work (we charge premium rates and work super cool projects). I’m just having second thoughts as exit opportunities aren’t as prevalent as I thought, the pay/benefits don’t match industry/risk of joint a startup, and I’m not getting the network of a Big4 or MBB

Is there any advice for networking into projects when you don’t know many people at the firm yet? I always to help on BD work when I’m on the bench, but it never turns into any billable work. Feeing very lost but I want to improve my approach.
