Including holidays I probably take 20 full days off throughout the year. I take some other half days, early Fridays, etc also.
60-90 days.
What’s the point of getting to the top if you’re not reaping the benefits. I have an amazing team of associates that I pay very well whom I trust and who can just about cover anything. I’m obviously available if something blows up but short of that they can handle.
I try to take most of 4th of July week off and a week around the holidays. This year have to do a fall Disney world trip with family too, and a long trial in august so I’m bashing my head in harder than usual this year and trying to ramp up a strong associate so everything doesn’t fall apart from me taking a third week. I’m told working in Disney world with kids will be impossible. What a life
Yea I’m trying to just make sure I take care of whatever I can before I go. The few month lead up is going to be brutal. It’s like a vacation I’m going to need to recover from.
Maximum amount and then some.
20-25
30-45
As many as I can and still serve my clients. It is the primary means of surviving the stress. Probably 24 approximately.
I usually take off thanksgiving week, two weeks at Christmas, a week and half in the spring for my anniversary and then long weekends through the year. The only way this works is to work every morning on vacation which I always do even with international travel
If you can't figure out how to enjoy nice vacations throughout the year, there is zero point to working ourselves to death like we do. Most of us aren't saving lives, the firm will survive without you. As long as you answer clients periodically while you are gone, your book of business will be fine.
Hmmm 🤔 I indulge my hedonistic urges so I’m trying to balance work and life regularly. I conference/vacation through marketing and speaking and taking a few days here and there. This year I’ve taken at least 4-5 weeks of time off, several long weekends, and multiple trips. But I’m trying to make it rain so I make it a point to be accessible to my clients. If they call me I answer if I can or call them back in a few hours and we chat, or the next day I’ll call back at the latest. Same with emails. Never leave them hanging!
