How much do partners make in firms like CFGI, Riveron, Morgan Franklin? What range?

Their pay is based on collections. So while they may have a base, much of their comp hinges on not only how much they sell but how much money they actually collect from their clients. It’s really a hard question to answer because some might only make a couple hundred grand while others could make low 7 figures. It’s not a situation like being a senior associate and everyone in the same region with the S1 title makes more or less the same $$$.

I have never heard of any of those firms.

Lots of money. More than non-partners

Full service consulting firm. Service lines for strategy/execution, accounting advisory, tech advisory and software implementation, and regulatory/risk advisory. Industry focus in FS, A&D, CPG, and technology companies. Website isn’t very helpful, but at almost all of my projects I run across ‘rival’ teams from the big 4

A friend that is a partner at MF said he was making essentially the same as he was previously making at BDO.

Is his work life balance better at least

450-550 p1, 450-650 p2, 550-1.1m p3, 700-2m p4, 750-2.5m p5

With all due respect, you don’t know what you’re talking about. Think about it this way: no PE backed firm is paying a fifth year partner 2m unless you’re counting the fake equity and 3 perfectly timed deals over 20 years in that equation and averaging it out? But definitely nowhere near that in terms of cash.

Aren’t CFGI and Riverin both PE backed, meaning there are non working owners sucking out profits?

True for mfc too

Someone poke holes in this: A GME short diagonal with calls seems like free money.
Buy a short term just OTM call, sell a long term ATM call. Can play with dates/strikes based on your risk tolerance and pricing beliefs. As long as this sees sub-150 by like October, you can make money. And be short vega on this thing.

Trying to get ahead of my caseload feels like trying to climb a hill made of loosely-packed pebbles. No matter how much I scrabble, I’m sliding closer and closer to the bottom.

How do you get caught up (or even ahead) when you’re always behind? Assume that all things that can be offloaded have been offloaded. I cannot take one more all nighter trying to get a motion drafted two days before the deadline because I couldn’t get to it earlier.

Currently interviewing at JPMorgan in their CIB division for a associate operations role. Have met with 5 people for two different teams and another person for another team, all of which I believe are 3 total open positions for 3 different teams. Any insight on the interview process or how long it takes or any sort of idea to give me on what I could look for that might help me believe I might get an offer? Checked my online application again recently and still says “In Consideration”

It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️

I left Audit at a midsize firm to join KPMG erp implementation consulting about 6 months ago. So far they seem to only want to staff me on projects with a heavy focus on technical accounting and audit. Spoke to a lot of others who have left and seems like being pigeonholed or staffed on projects not related to the actual core work of the practice is the common reason. I've been on the fence about whether I should stay and hope to be staffed on better projects in the future or leave soon...

Hello!

Any advice on how to request a 20% raise? This is my first career out of college. I signed my offer letter knowing that I was being underpaid by 10%, as per the posted position salary. My 1-year appraisal is close and I would like to request 20% based on an increased workload; I would also like to make up for being underpaid my first year.

My dilemma: Many companies only pay up to a 4% raise. However, that will not cover much in this economy, and I would still be still underpaid.
