Definitely not this. $5-7 given the long drive

like

I feel like the foods gonna be cold or soggy by then… 35 mins out of the kitchen if they pick it up right away. That foods sitting for at least 10 minutes before a driver is touching it. Ew..
But to answer your question. Maybe $5-$8

like

Whatever you can afford to share with someone that’s likely not making a ton for 35 min of work and real cost on their car.

like

$10

like

Controversial but I’d say there is a minimum tip regardless of how cheap the meal is. For me, that’s $8. I don’t feel right having someone spend 30 minutes doing something for me and not tip at least $8. Even if I’m ordering something that’s $5, I wouldn’t expect the service they’re providing to be lesser than if the item was $200.

like

$8?! You do you bro / sis. That not for me

On a $17 order- $4 or $5.

How do you adjust for restaurant distance

Minimum $4-5

Why would a restaurant/ driver agree to a 35 min away small order in the first place?

like

In my case, the travel times are correct bc I've done them before and I map it and check sometimes when I order

$10 because that’s a long drive

like

$0

20% always

like

$15, not because I care about adequate compensation but because you’re basically in a bidding contest. The lower the tip, the less likely drivers are going to take the order, and not steal/mess with your food.

They see the total pay though, which includes your tip.

like

I don’t order it. Every detail from the time to the cost is ridiculous.

Home office preference question. I am getting ready to redo the layout of my home office. One option I'm considering would have my desk facing a wall. I am wondering if anyone with this current setup has any feedback about it. I would face the wall so that I would have a better background for video conferences (am on about half the day) and also my cord situation would be cleaner.

A quick note about what I’ve experienced, in my decade long career, is the real advantage of MBB or FAANG - it gives you a shot at stretch roles that are outside your expertise. Not all the time or even most of the time compared to better candidates with specific experience for the role but gives you this wildcard shot at a vast array of opportunities.
