Most CRCs that I know make between $50k-$70k. It’s a good stepping stone to CRA at a CRO or sponsor and that’ll lead to the $100k territory.
Agree with the other comment, this field has money in it you just have to be thoughtful of the career path to get on. Actively make sure you are looking and getting the experience you need to progress. Open to outside and internal opportunities too.
It can very but it’s absolutely possible to earn over $100,000, especially as you gain more experience and take on more responsibility. I'm a research manager and am around the $100k range. You could look into larger institutions or biotech companies that offer higher salaries, along with bonuses and other perks, if you’re working with advanced clinical trials or in leadership roles.
I’m earning ~$55,000 annually in Houston . I heard the money is on the sponsor/CRO side.
