How much should I have in the bank before going solo?

Office in NYC is reopening on July 6 and then fully opening on Aug 3 with social distancing, PPE, temperature checks, etc...I feel pretty uncomfortable and would have to ride the subway to work. My lease is also up in July and I’d prefer to not resign in the city.

I think I have adult ADD, but don't know the process of getting checked out? I know you have to get tested, but with what kind of doctor? Finding it really hard to stay focused.

Can I ask to have my travel reimbursed for a client site in my home office city?
There is no direct public transportation available to that site (70 min) and I would likely have to uber (15 min).

Got laid off recently and received a job offer with another firm within 15 days of termination date - Now filling out the background check form - should I enter laid off employer as current employer or previous employer - and if background check reveals exact employment dates including termination date which for me was just 15 days ago - Need to know any risk if at all / interview with my future employer started while I was employed and in the process got laid off

I really think that some large holding companies are ever gonna force us back into the office. My ECD is based on the east coast. All three of the ACD/CD teams they hired in the past six months are east coast based. Our office is in the central time zone. Yet every job posting says “in person”. Seems like they just don’t want to advertise their hiring remote for the attractive accounts.

Have you worked at an agency that felt like it had process nailed down? It’s my biggest pain at my gig now and I want to jump ship but not if it’s the same thing with a different name on the door.

Someone at of our brokers just wrote “should of” instead of “should have” in an email. Is this a valid reason to put them in the penalty box?
