Prosecution is considering charging the parents of the student that committed the school shooting in Michigan. The parents just bought the gun and if the parents were negligent in storing / locking up the gun I think this is a very reasonable move.
I don't think parents are responsible when the school shooter gets the weapons outside of the house or when the parents have made a minimum effort to secure their weapons. But the school had just met with them on son's behavior too.

Stress comes from the companies not wanting to staff properly so the higher ups and stock holders make more money
at Liberty Mutual, in claims, the stress and burnout is rampant. constant changes/reorgs etc,, micromanagement, high volume. it all leads to the current state
I know exactly what your referring to and its leading to increases in leavers and long term sickness leave.
A cluster of us have been discussing for a while from our different department perspectives and we've a gut feeling theres a financial issue being hidden.
Prepare for the redundancy wave people.

The use of AI will ramp up the workload for each adjuster. Acceptance and maximum utilization of Ai will be the key to less stress and advancement. As a retired adjuster, I hope it will make everyone's job more rewarding.
Don't see any problems with those factors. I have seen increased people particularly high performers with the role out of AI. All of a sudden it looks like there will be a decrease in positions and the people striving to be promoted and better themselves look to be now stuck and looking as if what's the point?.
Burnout is real. We’ve recently had 3 commercial underwriters, who each had more than 10 years of experience leave to work on the agency side.
On the carrier side, the workload is overwhelming.
Interesting that EAP usage remains incredibly low despite the increasing stress levels.
80 hours a week for the same pay???
