I'm using it daily, for everything from proofreading to data cleanup. I've found it incredibly useful for copy generation and formatting. I'll throw all the pertinent info into Chat GPT and ask it to provide me with a nicely formatted text doc that I can paste into Word or Google Docs. It's such a timesaver.

I've used it for brainstorming, asking it some fairly open ended questions. It's interesting and useful for that. I wouldn't trust it enough to have it write anything for me. I figure by the time I double check whatever it does I could have just written it myself.

I use it a couple times a week to read and summarize for me—but like others here have said, i don’t trust it. I use the summary as Cliff Notes and go thru the docs to read myself as well.

Anyone have multiple FT jobs? I'm looking about to land a new primary FT job, as my current job is very very slow, doesn't really have any projects for me, and could end at any time (with a 30 day notice).
Where there any legal issues? (The two companies area in different industries so no competition). How did you manage both? The new company knows I'm still employed, should I quit the first or keep it as long as I can manage both? Any bad vibes or feelings of unprofessionalism? TIA

I was hired on with a company at the same time as my male coworker. We work the exact position, different projects.
I asked him flat out what his salary was when he hired on. His salary is at minimum 15% more. He’s never had a raise.
Neither one of us had any experience in this specific position but he didn’t even have experience in the field, which I did.
I requested a performance and salary review because it’s my annual review time anyway. Best way to address this? Also applying elsewhere.
