Hello fishes,
Last Monday (16 May), I had sent an email to Mindtree recruiter regarding the other offer I have and to revise my salary structure.
I haven't got any response from them yet. My joining date in Mindtree is 23rd May, and 30th May in another organization.
I'm not sure what I should do next?
P.S other offer is from Citiustech Healthcare Technologies .
I am currently pursuing a position to be a 401k workplace planning consultant with Fidelity Investments. I would like to connect with someone who has gone through that training and early hiring process to make sure I have a solid understanding of the position. This is specifically for the Raleigh/Durham NC area if possible.

What do you look for in a mentor?
Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Started working at 25 and was able to start maxing it at 28 @ 100k TC.
I’d try and throw as much as you can as fast as you can into it OP. That way, if you choose to have kids/save for a house, you can pull back a little and won’t feel bad since you’ve put a ton into it already

I’m at 0% till Dec 😆 after that it’s 4.3% and 5.3% with about 75k left at that point.

Nope, you're fine. I didn't max till I think 32.
Unless you have pretty hefty retirement spending goals, you don't *have* to max early on, and in fact could go quite a while without maxing and be fine.
The fact you think about retirement early is better then most. While you could have done better you are doing better than most. I’d just keep up the savings!

I max out my roth ira not 401k
Just turned 25 with 150k TC and this will be the first year I max out.

Yooo, congrats on that TC! I’m not even at 6 figures yet
You’re not behind tho no worries. Many people don’t even think about retirement until it’s too late
I’m just barely maxing it out (maybe a k or 2 under) at 22, but I’m spending quite little and have a small budget (other than rent - but Im from SF so it’s around 50% of my total expenses rn). Bc the market seems to be heading towards recession im thinking of dropping contributions by 1/2, but i always pause bc time in the market beats timing the market so idk. The 401k has also taken the vast majority of my investment portfolio so other than 2 month savings I have no short term investments.

-taking notes-
I maxed out the match immediately and the absolute max at ~35, but my biggest mistake was not going harder after the Roth 401k while I qualified. It’s the best deal going assuming you progress your career and earnings later in life. Either way, you’re ahead of the pack because you’re thinking about it early.
Pretty sure you can have both. You’ll need to check with the plan administrator. The Roth is great for early in career when your earnings and tax rates are lower.
