McKinsey & Company I had a second round of interview with McK 1 week back but no one got back to me yet.
I only received a link to login to McK website where the status my job application shows “In Progress”.
I am not sure whether it takes so much time for McK to respond after the second round.Is anybody aware of this?

Hello I recently joined Mindtree as C2 SSE and feeling this as bad move since the work culture and other things are very much startup kind of, very high workload and expectations and also the lead is not that helpful. In almost 3 months I got the company view as slave master culture I just wanted to know your experience if you work/worked at Mindtree. I also want to understand why people say Mindtree as very good company. Frankly saying I don't see a single good point about Mindtree

I got an offer from Oracle but I already informed the recruiter that I am not going to join and already communicated the same to HR via mail and phone. But I got a call from bluedart that they have shipped the laptop to my address.
Could you please suggest on the same. I don't understand why they have sent laptop even if I will not join and already communicated to them 1 month before joining date. Oracle

I do understand that the tourism and hospitality industry is under tremendous stress due to the pandemic but I also believe that it is goung to bounce back very soon. Its recommended that you stay in your relevant industry rather than venturing into some unknown territory.
If you still want to make a move into IT, I have seen a few folks from your industry joining TCS BPS. Please note that TCS BPS offers kind of back office/support jobs.
Try for Infosys. If it's possible for you to get into their training at Mysore, it would be most beneficial as they will teach you from scratch & pay you, while you live & enjoy (pre pandemic) in their world class facility . After 4 months, they would assign you an office based on your preference & you could start working on projects.
