Plan to go to B-school in 3 years (1 year out of UG now). Long term goal is entrepreneurship. Have offers at a MBB firm for a generalist consultant role and at FAANG for a strategy role. FAANG offer is slightly higher (though both are a 50+% bump on my current comp). Both would have me reset to entry level. Which one should I take?

So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I’ve been seeing all of the Instagram and Linked In posts from agencies in town showing their “commitment to transparency in hiring” and to hire more minorities in light of the BLM movement. I knew the numbers were bad, but holy shit, not THAT bad.
It’s infuriating to me, as a POC how many fucking times I applied, emailed and reached out to so many of these agencies without getting even the time of day.
I’ll believe their supposed commitments, when I actually see the results.
