At 30 you have 40L saving I'm 31 and I don't even have 10L saving. You are way ahead for your age, abhi me tere sath compare karega to rat ko so bhi nahi paega. Don't compare with anyone, grass is always greener on other side.

32,Female,Married,9.5 YOE, 32 LPA CTC
Savings account - 3 L
FD + RD - 20 L
PPF - 4 L
NPS - 3.2 L
MF - 6 L
PF - 6 L
Gold - 6 L
RSU - 3 L
Big purchases till now -
Bought 2 cars - one for my parents (3 L loan completed) and another with husband (6L loan pending), renovated parents home (2L loan completed), repaid husband's loan of 2L, Purchased gold and spent on my marriage and related stuff - 10 L
P.S - I was planning to start a family but now I am even more scared about whether I have saved enough to start a family. Please help.
Double MF do more SIP I think 10L is enough for FD or RD as you have nps and PPF. About having kids I think you can take risk as this saving looks sufficient even if anything happens let children see the struggle 😊 because age will not reverse if you invest current time in earning more money.

I want to look at the portfolio after 10 yrs (at least)
Everyone have different responsibilities and different journey, there is no point in comparison.
One of my friend earn half of my salary and live in a Villa that I can only dream of. I use some old hatchback car and he drive Fortuner and many other similar difference.
Dekho bhai.... Kehene ko to koi kuchh bhi keh skta hai.
I earn 80 lakhs per month. I have big villas in each country. I own 20 BMW and 40 Rolls-Royce.
Now who is going to verify if I am telling the truth or just spelling out my dreamworld?
By the way.. Everyone has a different timeline and luck. It's better to not compare with others. Comparison is the thief of the happiness!
Bhai aap director ho youtube mein? And see just an IIM word got you many replies within 10mins of post. There is no money limit for IIM grads
Ekdum sahi
Yes you are lagging behind in terms of thoughts and taking example of 1000 anonymous people from an app as reality of whole world
Stop comparing with others. Most people think the same,These thoughts are eating peace of mind. Money is important, but not always
Bhai kyu gand fad raha hai.. 40 L saving batake.. Khud ki nazar main girayega mujhe.

Garib log 🥸
Thats a good amount of money.
If you save lets say save 1 lakh per month after all expenses then continue about 60 percent in SIP and baaki paisa spend on experiences (if you are not already doing) otherwise you dont need an advise you are a wise man :)
I don't understand why people ask such types of questions without posting current TC and if they're working remote or office. I feel sorry for the people who start commenting without knowing the factors that impact. This kind of post at its current state doesn't serve anyone neither the poster nor the contributors.
Please start mentioning your CTC for these kinds of posts. That will fetch you focused inputs and not the random answers.
And the fact that poster is an iim graduate posting these trivial stuffs
I haven't seen single post related to the savings in store yet... But I saw your post and now I m feeling miserable.. thanks
Its a good investment...I am working from past 8 yrs..right now 30 .. unmarried..savings are 43L(diversified in 8 assets) having salary 1.2 lacs+ since 1 yr only... previously salary was only 50K and joined as freshers for 25K-33K and worked for 4 yrs..what worked for me is not buying expensive iphones . expensive cars just cz I am earning in lacs ..I bought it at the age of 29 of rs 8 lacs (4 lacs loan)..using phone of 25-30K Android.. planning to buy first property which is also near to my aukaat...
Mfs, shares, FD, PPf, pf ,nps , Gold (1 lac ) and Savings account
Fortune changes any moment for anyone..If at all you have to do comparison...Do it with yourself where you were in past and where you are now..that is best yardstick .. Instead of posting on grp please do self introspection you will be much at peace.
I’m the best behaved younger generation and have my name in the will of my parents, grandparents and immediate relatives.

Do not compare buddy...You are IIM graduate so you must have high expectation but do not compare with others this will always makes you unhappy. If you have saved 1 cr you will compare it with those who have 5 crs. Comparison is good it will encourage you to move ahead but it should be healthy comparision ☺️
I turn 29 next week, 8 yoe, 12.7 CTC, single.. no loan as of now but might need one for marriage
