At 30 you have 40L saving I'm 31 and I don't even have 10L saving. You are way ahead for your age, abhi me tere sath compare karega to rat ko so bhi nahi paega. Don't compare with anyone, grass is always greener on other side.

What are some of the best MFs to invest right now?
So the story goes like ..
One day Alexander The Great was on a leisurely morning walk , at this point he had almost conquered the whole world and he was waiting to enter India and was trying to negotiate with King Porus . Now 2 Rishis were coming from the opposite direction they saw Alexander and said so you are the Great Alexander you are the one who has conquered the whole world wow so much I have heard of you but today I saw my life is Complete now.
Listening to the praise Alexander stopped and tried to give Some gold 🪙 to both of them but they refused and said that they don't want the gold instead they want a small favour from him. Alex. Said go ahead ask, then they said ki they are really poor guys they eat whatever people give them, bathe in Ganga and wear just one set of the same cloth and he then took out a small sewing needle and said ki we have only one set of cloth so when it gets tear and wear and some holes develop in it what will do here to we can sew it but but when we'll die and go to another world they will not be able to Sew those clothes we just want you to take this needle and bring that up and give it to me like you bring that needle and when we will go and you also come you just give that needle again to me in the another world which is after death so Alexander after that he like started laughing and thinking that they are mad and he said you don't know we cannot take anything like from here to the another world and started laughing then the rishis smiled and said to him that only you have to know we don't know why you are killing this much people why you want the whole world like what you will do of the whole world can you like use it no you cannot the same way you keep it whatever you think if you can hold it and hold it or if you think if you will take it then please bring this needle with for us only that much we want then Alexander thought for while and he just went till his base barefoot walking and after that everyone knows what happened in Alexander and porus war like he won but it was a brutal fight he was hurt his army was hurt and he couldn't survive that after that he died and he said before dying that when I will die leave my hand out of the casket and leave it open and keep like gold falling from it so people should know in the end you cannot take anything even Alexander the Great who won the whole world couldn't take a single coin .
So be happy guys , be content , raise good kids and take insurances , and LIVE a little, be happy and grateful you are able to take that theoretically 'Impossible breath considering our infinitely Huge Universe with no proven end yet. 🙏❤️

Yaha toh 2 lakh bhi saving nahi hai phir bhi jee raha hoon 😂😂
You have answered this question yourself. Your salary was decent. Their salary was great. They chose a career in tech while you chose a career in management. Over the last 7-8 years, tech careers have given much higher returns than management/consulting careers. You can evaluate this yourself. I too did my PGDM but part-time to focus on my tech job and my building my startup.
I'm 31 and I too have good enough savings which helped me buy my new home recently in a metro city of India. My primary income was thourgh my job and then I made several investments in stocks and startups which paid off very well in the last 6 years. I don't recommend everyone to do this since there is a level of risk involved.
I have 7 yrs of exp and have saved around 23L including Stocks, FD and PF. Most of my savings happened in last 3 years due to WFH, till 4 years of exp I had a saving of around 3-4 Lakhs only. I did make a switch getting 120% hike in mid 2021. I am trying to make another switch in next 6 months. My salary is not that good I have only switched once in my 7 years of career.

Note: lost all the motivation to keep working thru the age of 60 and chase money endlessly
Instead focusing on spending quality time with kids, friends and parents.

If i see in this group i am way to behind. And i jnow whatever i do i won't be able to save much for my son education now. I spend whole day and night thinking what should i do to save money.
I started career in 2011 with salary 13k per month. Spend my life in just owning a house in NCR.
Any thoughts which can help me. I have monthly expenses of around 80k.
I'd suggest, move abroad for a few years. Try finding a job in Dubai or Singapore where the salaries are good and if you're mindful you can save, invest and create wealth for yourself in the next 3-5 years before you turn 40.
Also you're in the right age to move abroad. You're not too young and not too old. You're experienced enough and at this age you can take a lead role in companies abroad.
Please think about this seriously and take action before you turn 40.
