I am a 450 level employee in the corporate sector, making $25.32 an hour. My boss has mentioned a potential off-cycle promotion to 502, with only a $1,000 annual compensation increase (due to budget restrictions). I'm trying to figure out how close to the norm these numbers are? To me, it seems low. Thank you!

I hold an offer of 18LPA from KPMG with joining date of 7th September. (Wfh)
I applied at Workday on 15th May and went through 7 technical rounds of interview and received a verbal offer letter of 21LPA (hybrid)
Now apparently their technical panel "forgot" about the interview and wants to have a discussion again as 8th technical interview. HR says their joining date will be 19th September.

Due to obvious conditions my comp for the calendar year (salary+bonus) is back to 2017 levels although my overall sales are more than double and 1/3 less total comp than last year. It seems like comp opportunity is always decreasing during good times (I get it) but when it comes to adjusting during bad times, nothing was done. Is this normal for industry sales?
