I am an Advocate in Delhi with ~2 years PQE and 4 years of internship/associate experience under an ASG (formerly AOR, then Senior Advocate). Due to a highly toxic litigation environment, I am looking to transition into in-house roles. Given that I hold a B.A. LL.B. from CCSU, I find it difficult to secure interviews. How can I make this switch effectively? Also, would pursuing an LL.M. through CLAT-PG from a top NLU help offset of CCSU ? If yes, should I attempt CLAT-PG this year or next year?

Working as an analyst in Energy Practice assisting case teams with renewables, utilities, O&G, digital strategy. Net experience 2 years! Want to go for higher studies.

Should I
1. Go for technical masters? (if yes, do recommended some good courses)
2. Wait to gain enough experience for a MBA in US/EU

Thanks!

I’m a director/DP who has started my own small commercial production company. I’ve mainly been doing direct to client work (while also working as a hired gun for other production companies). I’m non-union currently and the budgets my company has handled go up to $250k. Based out of Los Angeles.

I’m looking to get more work for my company. Wondering if any reps here would like to chat? Thanks!

Fell out of love with real estate. The more I'm in this industry, the more I realize most people are looking to make a buck instead of helping their clients.

Hi all,

I am trying to resign from my employer and my offical notice period is of 3 months as per the agreement. The agreement also states that the employment can be terminated by either party with 3 months of notice or monthly gross salary in lieu of notice period.

But my HR says that they can't release me before 3 months and when i told them that its not fair practice then they told me to file a legal case against company.

Can someone suggest what should i do? What choices i am left with?

I got x lacs retention bonus from my company. Now I have resigned before 1 year. The company is obviously recovering the amount. But they are also recovering 18% GST on the same. Is that even legal?

Hi all,
One of my family members is diagnosed with breast cancer and I have to take care of her. I have been working from home (1.6 Yr) since the joining in my present organization. But now, they are saying if I resign due to any reason then I have to serve notice period (90 days) from office that too in night shift 3:00 to 12:00. My office is in different state.

What should I do, should leaving the company right away is right thing? I am having the all the salary slips, appraisal lett with me.
