One of my family members is diagnosed with breast cancer and I have to take care of her. I have been working from home (1.6 Yr) since the joining in my present organization. But now, they are saying if I resign due to any reason then I have to serve notice period (90 days) from office that too in night shift 3:00 to 12:00. My office is in different state.

What should I do, should leaving the company right away is right thing? I am having the all the salary slips, appraisal lett with me.

I just got a job offer for an Entry Level Software Engineer at Boeing in Saint Louis. The salary is $82,000 with an $8,000 sign on bonus. I was hoping for an offer closer to 90k base and I don’t care too much for a sign on bonus. However, this is a lot more than what I’m making now, and would be my first SWE job. Should I counter? Hi all,

I am trying to resign from my employer and my offical notice period is of 3 months as per the agreement. The agreement also states that the employment can be terminated by either party with 3 months of notice or monthly gross salary in lieu of notice period.

But my HR says that they can't release me before 3 months and when i told them that its not fair practice then they told me to file a legal case against company.

Can someone suggest what should i do? What choices i am left with?
