I am available to write letters and posts of recommendation for people who are in need of them. If you need one let me know where to find your resume and I'd be happy to give you a rec if I like what I see.
Good luck out there!

Isn't that a little unethical? Recommendations should come from people who actually know the professional.

Kirstie, this may come from a good place but I agree with what the other two posters have said. How can you write a letter of reference for someone you've never met and why would you risk your professional reputation for a stranger online?

Question on UK visa-
My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Is there a way to get 6 months multiple entry visa, if I were to join him once in a while.

Additional Posts in Career Pivot

I'm currently making a career pivot and have gained a significant amount of experience during my MBA but still a bit in that pivot stage.. Has anyone worked for or with any corporate VCs, VCs with some sort of business development or other support, innovation labs, incubators, or similar places that you enjoyed? I'm about to graduate from an MBA program and am looking for jobs in this space. I'd love any recommendations for places to check out! Thanks!

I have an urgent situation that I need advice for: what job to take? I currently have 2 job offers. Offer A (Scientist 3): 70k with full benefits including 15 PTO days and 5k tuition assistance yearly. It was sent to me last Wednesday and yesterday they left me a voicemail asking for a decision at my earliest convenience. Offer B (Manager): 76k with full benefits minus tuition assistance and only 5 PTO days first year (15 days after). Both companies said they'd groom me to take management roles.

Pivoting away from Sales: I’ve been in sales positions for 15 years, and I’m just exhausted by the role (disputing commissions, arguing about deals, all of it). Any resume writer referrals? I’m trying to make the jump into project management. I have 13YOE managing cross-departmental projects and people, and I’d like to shed the general EA work of calendars/travel/expenses. I’m hoping a better written resume will help target algorithms to get my resume viewed for other roles.

Not sure whether to be honest or not in this situation. I have decided that I want to leave my job and do a masters degree. I’m planning to leave my job at the end of June, should I warn my boss now so she can start hiring? I don’t want her to be blindsided by my decision and hiring is very slow at the moment. Does anyone have a career coach they would recommend? Preferably someone familiar with creative fields. I’m trying to figure out if I want to transition out of marketing.

Hi everyone. I'm pretty early in my career (just over 1 YOE) & not really enjoying my current role as a Consultant/Developer because of the type of projects I get combined with some mobility issues. However, I'm really interested in technical program management or project management and I'm looking for any advice on how to get there bc I've been applying, but can't even seem to get a call back.
