Brickell is primarily buildings and downtown. I can give you great bar recommendations if you want to stay there. For art, you might want to go to the Wynwood/Midtown area
Cool yeah down to check out other areas too for sure! Would be great for bar recs in Brickell too!

If you end up over in Bal Harbour, Specchio for dinner.
If you enjoy ice cream, I highly recommend salt and straw
Wolfsonian museum, Miami Modern art museum is atop this giant platform that contains the library and history museum (both interesting) the Fairchild Botanic gardens is lovely and in coral gables just roaming around there is so nice, Bayside (touristy but fun), Wynwood, Little Havana (where my family is from lol Cubans represent!) January is usually an art deco festival around this time too so check that out if it's going on and just the buildings and art around Miami Beach area. For food... If you have time you have to go to Versailles for Cuban food. The best. Authentic and amazing for people watching.
