I am currently in big law, but am currently looking on moving to Chicago. I am thinking of moving to a litigation boutique to be more involved in trial work. Could someone please tell me of chicago boutiques that big law associates commonly move to, boutiques that pay big law salaries (that is common where I currently am), or the caliber of work boutiques have (where i am is more of a high end boutique market, so they get comparable work to big law).

Hey folks, I'm getting an offer as a SC in EY UK. Presently I'm a manager with EY India (up for SM next yr Oct 2021). Comp is 55k range (haven't officially received the figure, a few more days it's expected, doing some homework before that).

I'll be moving with family. Wife may not immediately start working (,find a new job, we have a toddler daughter as well 2 YO).

I personally don't find this offer commercially attractive. Can someone offer some counter arguments?
