It's possible. Depends on you and your work ethic and experience, your practice area, and your reasons for the shift.

like

Depends on the firm as some large firms have GPA and school requirements. However by and large , if all the other factors are met (namely, relevant work experience) you should be able to.

like

Largely depends on practice area from my experience.

Does anyone have any insight into partners retiring early? I am at a point where I need to consider leaving if I am not aiming for partner. I don’t see myself working past my 40s. My partner and I are not big spenders and anticipate have enough to retire comfortably in 40s (obviously a lot can change). I have been assured I will become SM in next year (currently 31 years old).

Hi all 👋 does anyone have any recommendations for career switchers trying to land entry-level digital marketing or social media coordinator roles?

The biggest challenge I’m finding right now is that I don’t have many of the hard skills required (photoshop, illustrator, Google analytics) 📊📈.

I would really prefer a smaller marketing agency where I can wear many hats and learn the ropes from scratch. Thanks in advance 😁

Newish to data analytics. Have some experience in power BI, sql, and R. I wanted to get some exposure to aws and saw the AWS cloud practitioner as an available course at my job. Is this cert worth it? Or should I try one of the more advanced ones ? The data analytics one for example but wasn’t sure if it would be difficult to get through as a beginner. Will it look good on my resume?

Was recently offered a job in Hawaii that would be a much larger role than I currently have (deputy chief architect). The downside is the cost of living is nearly double my current location and I would only be getting a 40% pay increase. For startup founders/people with a successful side project: How did you get the idea/inspiration for your business? I’m currently working at a Series B startup and my end goal has always been to found my own startup, but I graduated from college 2.5 years ago and I still have not had any great ideas cross my mind. I do spend a fair amount of time brainstorming. I don’t want to continue working here forever, but I’m struggling to generate that “this is it” idea to build a company for. Any advice?
