I am doing my internship with a Big 4 in the NY office. I didn’t choose this location (they had no spots left in the one I wanted). What’s the likelihood they would relocate me if I got a full-time position to the city I want? I want to go back for family reasons. I am worried if I say I want to leave this office then the F-T workers here will write me off/not want to bring me on their engagements.

I have received 3 offers from 3 companies for PM role in the last week with my preferred company offering the least.

I would like to negotiate based on competing offer numbers - what are the things that I should keep in mind when doing so? Anything that I should be of? Like should or should I not share the actual offer letter? Etc?

Not sure if this matters but I have a total of 14YOE with 5 of them in a BA, Sr. BA roles. Started off as a software engineer.

Clawback clause in current contract: been in role for over 2 yrs, it was an internal move that required relocation. Relocation was approved shortly after (over 2 yrs ago) but covid meant the actual move and start of my contract with new subsidiary was delayed, I was paid by the previous subsidiary meanwhile. I got small relocation package. Would internal move be subject to a buy-out/clawback clause if I leave now and if yes, is it time in role or time under new contract? Any experience? Thanks!

What is the highest paying type of insurance defense?

What are your working hours usually? How many of you work over 8-9 hours on a daily basis? And are you okay working late evenings and longer hours?

Currently at a super conservative defense firm. I do really well but keep getting the criticism that I tend to just do things on my own initiative. I’m just predisposed to being decisive and rather autonomous. Besides being a solo atty, where would this skillset be better suited? Plaintiffs work?

Would it be hard to get a exp associate role in advisory at a B4 as someone with about 10 months in audit at EY, 7 months experience in corporate accounting at a F300 and CPA? Hated my time at the F300 but had thought the grass would be greener in industry.
