I am just over a year into my current position as an accountant (private/industry accounting). I don’t have the CPA, but I am in the process of earning my MBA. I am hoping to have a better understanding of an average market salary for my education and position. I have spoke to friends who are in similar positions and are marking about 8-10% more annually. Am I being underpaid? If so, how can I negotiate a higher salary. Being my first job out of college, I don’t have much experience with that.
