They tell lies to damage ratings during year end performance round tables that screw staff, seniors, managers and senior managers over for ratings. Just because they don't want to do the right thing and make clients adjust financials shouldn't impact the folks that morally want to do the right thing and make the adjustments.
Have a partner who forced somebody to quit because they wouldn't let them take off 'outside busy season' when they needed to take their final CPA exam. She cited that the person 'was just a staff, they'll be able to take it again sometime'. Person left the next day, got a new job in a week and passed the CPA.
Partners who are anti female advancement -- this is a clear dog to PwC Houston Tax.
That sounds more evil than annoying/awkward
Not that it's affected me, but I've read plenty of emails between partners and higher-ups where they completely piss on lower-level staff.
They've sent very polite and well-worded messages of encouragement and praise to associates and managers, but then forwarded the email to another partner and said things like "Lies, of course, but ya gotta keep 'em happy!"
Have partner who everytime he sees me breaks out into his version of the Indian accent since he thinks it's funny and goes on for almost 5 mins. Not only does he do it when he meets me alone but also in front of others. It's annoyingly and just down right dumb!
PWC 3 - I am specially referring to Houston ITS
It's annoying AF when you try to get your coachees a rating they deserve only to be shot down by person of power and office politics.
Got a partner that is just straight up weird. Says awkward things, inappropriately stares at females (including clients), and is just a sad and seemingly lonely human being.
Which group pwc 2?
There is one constantly throws team, manager, senior manager under the bus all the time when bad things happen, and gets all credits himself for accomplishments. Has great relationship with other partners but not with the people below.
A partner that is too rich.
Partner that is completely out of touch with reality. Only focuses on the positive and the pipeline, without acknowledging or reflecting on lessons learned from failures. Won't address real concerns or problems and just hope they go away.
Partners who know about policy violations people are committing but do nothing about it or downplay it like it isn't a big deal. Not acceptable.
One of our partners loves to talk at the urinal. Like no man, that's not time for chit-chat
