New comp for new partner channel I am carving out, I am offered same base but guaranteed 75% quota attainment payout. Is this a fair comp? Would love any constructive thoughts/points on this. I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.

I drunk texted. It was bad. I wasn’t an asshole, I just said my feelings because I was frustrated about them being avoided. And then I got hardcore ghosted, which is expected but still harsh. Do as I say, not as I do. 💔

Trying to figure out if I should start as an inbound SDR, or try jumping straight into an AE role in SaaS.
