I am new MBA graduate who has prior experience in HR but not from Canada. Applying for Admin jobs is not getting any luck. Now i am thinking of learning payroll and applying for payroll jobs (no prior payroll experience).

Is there anyone who thinks this part of the job positions have more hope than entry level of HR jobs?

Is exp hiring easier than through college/mba? I assume there might be less competition but more self selection and less spots

Incoming MBA, I have my tuition paid for and rent covered (I will be an RA). So the only thing I need to pay for is food and entertainment. Do you think 20k is enough to last me through the 2 years? I will make a little money interning in the summer, so that would be a safety valve if I blow through the 20k.

Or… should I take a small loan?
