Agree with you that anything written beyond paragraph one seems to be a standard 'dear leader oh how I worship thee blah blah nlah'.
I don't think it's a surprise that Barr left. Speculation started around the time he said there was no widespread fraud. I think the only unknown was if Trump would fire him by tweet or if he would 'leave on his own'

Still waiting for someone to prove it in court...
Whether he jumped or was pushed is irrelevant. The important questions are what (or who) is next and why? Bill Barr had done some reputation repair work with his comments about finding no voter fraud. Is Trump looking for someone as AG who will say there was fraud? Or is he looking for an AG who’ll attack Biden? Or both? What would the new AG do that Billy Barr wouldn’t (clean answers only)?
Whether he was pushed or jumped is exactly why your next sentence is important, lol
