I am seeking employment with SpaceX in Reliability Engineering, specifically Launch Build Reliability Engineer. I have an MS in Mathematics and 12+ years in managerial positions in Quality/Civil Engineering, and have been studying Reliability Engineering fundamentals for the past year. What else can I do to better my chances at nailing an interview when the position reopens? Thanks!

Practice interviewing using the STAR method. When you think you're ready for the interview, have a "mock" interview in front of a trusted friend who will give honest feedback. It makes a difference.

I will likely hire a career coach to help with mock interviews. Hoping I'm on the right track to actually obtaining an interview someday!

Look at previous interview questions reported by others. I'm sure there are some on Glassdoor.

I have done this for several months now. My request is for additional ideas to OBTAIN an interview while I continue to study.

A couple of decades in this field and now I want to just walk away. I’ve been out of college for 5 years and all of my work experience till now has been in R&D for start ups and small businesses . So not only is this a new experience for me going into such a large company but also a industry (semiconductors). Does anybody has tips or advices on what I should expect as a new hire and how I can set myself up for success? Thanks!
