How difficult is it to switch from civil engineering to electrical engineering?

I haven't looked into this but I reckon you'd need to go back to uni for this one. I've heard that electrical engineering is the hardest engineering out there. Civil (I studied this too) is relatively not that hard.

How advanced are you in your career? At the beginning all the engineering courses are basic, so the first knowledge is valid for another engineering course.

Hi , i am an electrical engineer and I would say it is difficult but with the right mindset you could learn a lot , but that doesn’t mean it would be better for you if you enrolle yourself in a master degree about electrical engineering or go and back and study a little bit more in electrical engineering , just for the fact that would give you a complete rol and could be recognized

MIS Junior here. Should I graduate next May and start working or get my Masters in MIS and have 1 more internship? I have had two internships already (Business Analyst & QA/Automation Scripting) and I am interning in Cyber this summer at a Top 10 firm. Should I get my masters and try to intern with b4/MBB in cyber consulting or just graduate next May?

As an experienced, SHRM certified HRBP , I would just like some feedback on your opinion of the differences in the roles between an HRBP an HR Manager besides the obvious that the manager should have direct reports. I am an HRBP and work in step with 3 HRM’s. They all 3 just got out of cycle raises of between 5-20% 😳 and I received nothing. I am quite aware of our HR code that salary is confidential but I was told about this. Would you be looking for other employment? Or stay?

I’ve been told my company is changing my title from Associate Director of BD to Sales Executive. I’m concerned it reads like a title demotion. Is it just semantics? How will this look for my career development? Curious about the standard perception of Sales Executive from a seniority perspective. Where does this land on the sales roles hierarchy? For context, it’s a professional services firm, I’ve been there 3+years, and they gave a Sales Executive title to someone who just started 5mo ago.

I have a interview scheduled for Data Scientist job can any one suggest me. I am looking for a career transition to Data Science domain.

I have an offer to join a startup as an APM. The only downside is that the engineering team is located offshore in India. I’m concerned about the resulting impact because of 1) the potential late night calls 2) the learning opportunities missed by not working with a US engineering team (communication tactics, translatable skills) 3) potential exit opps into FAANG pm roles due to not having experience with an onshore eng team. Would any one be able to speak to this from experience or share advice

9th September onwards, so called the grand programme for the next 3 Fridays for completion of 150 years!
Question to Leadership!
1. You are calling all the employees in the office & just providing lunch? That's all for completing 150 years?
2. You would ask questions, and whoever is able to answer it, you will give some merchandise only to them?, And the other people are not your employees?
Why are you even organizing it? You think people would come from far places just for lunch?

Hi everybody! 😊
I've been working as a Junior Analog Design Engineer for a year and half.
I received a proposal for a Senior Analog Designer role from Bosch in the same city where I am currently working.
Should I wait and build up a few more years of experience before accepting a Senior role or should I jump in and work to fill the gap?
Next year, there will be an important deadline for the project I'm working on and my resignation could be critical for the team, how would you deal with it?
