Fire everyone.
If you know the team, fire as needed. If not, get to know your people. Their strengths and weaknesses. But some just don’t know. They may have never been trained or been given goals or objectives. So many go on working to improve only the situation at hand. Little to no tasks addressing root cause or staying ahead of production and second issue requirements.
Culture is key. If someone has a negative attitude and is unwilling to change, all of “your goals” will be deemed moot as they won’t care to join in your vision.
Getting ahead of the game with product isn’t easy. You may have supplier issues. Sub-tier issues. Even manufacturing issues internally and externally.
Goal #1: Give up your job to someone who doesn't need to ask random people on Glassdoor for the answer.
