I am trying to apply my skills from my old jobs roles into a new job. The skills were supervising a team and over seeing daily operations as well as entry level in data reporting. I see nothing much out there in NY area or even remotely. I looked into manager as well. I heard about honing in on skills such as AI and Cybersecurity to add on but where should I start in these 2 areas from scratch to get ahead w/o any cyber knowledge besides very basics. Thanks

I’m intrigued but I want to know 2 things:
1. Culture/WLB - how is it?
2. Realistic market opportunity/opportunity to crush quota (obv dependent on many things)

Background: Currently making 95k/160k OTE at a boutique research and consulting firm. I’m happy but we’re extremely flat with little to no opp for promotion in the next 2+ years.

Do we get a timely exit in PwC SDC in 15 days during probation period? or does it depend or our manager?

note - I’m yet to join the company, just want to know if it’s a smooth exit or they can keep us as long as they want?

What kind of exit ops are you seeing in accounting advisory? I’m in CMAAS and not sure what my options are other than traditional accounting roles. Also, salary expectations with 3 years of experience in HCOL? Thinking it might be really tough to beat current public accounting salaries.

Even without LinkedIn, I see a lot of people younger than me in much better roles. They started off with relevant jobs right out of college. I graduated in 2009 when the economy tanked and worked in retail for years before I was finally able to land in corporate. Does anybody else struggle with this as well? I’m constantly comparing myself to others who are younger than me.
