pivot to data science, not consulting. fintech is going to get eaten by AI and agent automation.

Why do you think you’re struggling?

What job titles are you applying for?

What is your experience in fintech? Which part of the business - is it product development, business development or something else?
If it’s product development, are you aware about most recent developments where AI is taking over most development tasks?
If you’re looking for consulting jobs, where in the consulting cycle (selling, delivery, post-delivery) are your skills and experience best suited?

Child care when traveling for work should be expensable… also dog boarding… I cannot get over how things like first class seats and any meals for higher ups, dry cleaning, ubers/lyfts over cheaper options, etc. all are expensable but essential costs you need to foot when traveling like child care and dog boarding are not expensable. I wish we had a per diem like allotment rather than actual costs so we could use money left over if we choose cheaper options so we could use the money we save

Hi all,
I’m currently working for a small technical consulting start-up firm. I make good money, have great benefits, and they seem very happy with the work I’m doing, so I know I could move up quickly. However, tech consulting is definitely not my dream job. I want to get into data analytics, and I have an offer from a big company to do just that. I’ve only been at my current company for about 8 months, but I don’t ever see myself loving this job. How do I know when it’s time to make a change?
