Job has up to 80% travel PwC
How is typically life for these positions requiring travel? This is for a SWE position.
Currently work with clients is remote as stated by the recruiter. If work is currently feasible through virtual means, will there be flexibility to choose to travel for this position?

If you really and genuinely need to call in sick, just do it. Say you will not be able to come in today and leave it at that. I don’t know your situation, but calling off twice in a month is a lot.
If you've only been working someplace for a month, saying you're too sick to work on two separate occasions is going to look bad. I'm not saying you're the bad employee, but you're obviously not making a good impression on your manager. If you're sick, take off and deal with it, but you have to expect that a manager may be skeptical.

For a new employee, that’s excessive. If you are legitimately not feeling well, take the day off; your health is most important. But those two days will even be considered excessive for an employer who isn’t new
If you’re on probation I’d be carful with calling in so soon too! Your health is definitely more important though if you feel you need to call in.
