I came back from maternity leave about 3 weeks ago and no one has been assigning me much work. I’ve reached out to multiple partners, and even so, I get a few projects here and there but have only been staffed on 1 new case and rejoined an existing case I was on prior to my leave. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this or is this a message I need to start looking? If the latter, how long do you think I have before they let me go?

I need your help, please. I have a student who simply does not stay on track unless an adult is monitoring him. His quizzes go unfinished and writing assignments are put aside to browse online.
I also would like to ask if there is a way to prevent him from browsing other websites online during instructional time?

I am open to suggestions on how to keep him on track during Math and Writing assignments. Any assistance with this would be helpful.

Have you used or ever heard someone use oral progesterone during IVF? I did injections in my first round which failed, but the practice in my home country uses oral progesterone a lot. I looked up but couldn’t find much info on why not using the oral route in the US.. going to ask my doctor next week but just wondering if anyone knows—- getting daily shots is a little too much.. thank you!

Entity A and B have a partnership such that me working for entity B will create conflict of interest. Does anyone know how litigation finance works on the plaintiff side? If someone wanted to bring a lawsuit against their former employer would a general contingency arrangement with a plaintiff’s firm make sense? Or would one need to find funding and then contact a plaintiff’s firm to actually handle the case? I’m a transactional lawyer, so this is out of my wheelhouse.
