I checked my associate title randomly today and saw it said senior associate. this wasn’t expressed to me directly but at lunch with the dept head on Monday she told me work was gonna get harder and she was gonna depend on me more. Any ideas for navigating this transition..?? I was just getting comfortable and happy about being a midlevel too.

Networking question here. A retired partner at the firm I used to work out reached out to me recently about attending an afternoon during the week (b4 4/30) with one of his long time clients.
