I have been shortlisted for AC role and my HR discussion is scheduled next week.
1. Need some insights on the maximum and minimum ctc (fixed and variable) that can be offered for 3 yoe (all relevant) . My current ctc is 7.2 (6.5 fixed) . Tech stack - Big data and AWS developer.
2. Is there any joining bonus. If yes , what should be the ask.
Any inputs will be very helpful for me to go with my expectations to the HR. Thanks!

Disney Streaming Services I completed my interview process with DSS early last week, and was reached out by recruiter that all rounds were strong hires, and they are extending an offer. We set a time to talk on Friday about the offer. However, the announcement of targeted hiring freeze happened on Friday. I was ghosted with no call. What should I expect now? White people are easily the most discriminated class of people in the job market. Any other race will get you further in the hiring process I promise you that as a former hiring manager.

No point coming here anymore, spending your youth to a system that is ultimately going to fail you..
In the end you'll be too foreign to be in your native land and too foreign for US.
Avoid having that identity crisis and better build your life somewhere else, you're better off in your homeland than US or any country for that matter.

Did you even try to google this question SE1 lol. Jesus, you have so many tools at your disposal these days (Claude, ChatGPT even). You can’t remain this dumb. Choosing to believe systemic racism doesn’t exist is a choice at this point.
i have been by indian hiring managers/ interviewers.
I was interviewed by a white man that did the job. he thought I would be great. The Indian manager was like "Nah, I think you should intern somewhere." I was in my mid 30's and had the same certification as her. I took an interview with the same company. Again the person I interviewed with loved me and said i think you can go far. out came the same Manager. It was wrap. For a decade I stop interviewing there. I wouldn't take any calls from a recruiter about a position there.
I'm a black man. I just thought that woman had a bias against me. Same thing happen at community college of Philadelphia. White managers loved me. The Indian had some issue.

Racism is alive and well but it's not what it was 50 years ago. Now conservative white males are the most discriminated class, at least in tech. And since this bowl is specific to tech, in all my years I cannot come up with a single example where a person of color was discriminated against for a tech job. In fact it's quite the opposite, many organizations have minority quotas. If you have to turn away a qualified (or in some cases even more qualified) candidate just because they're white, that's racism.
As others have pointed out, Indian hiring managers are far more likely to hire Indians vs. white people. Naturally you can't find documented stats on this but I've seen it personally and anyone who works in tech has seen it. On more than one occasion I was interviewed by an Indian manager, aced the interview, then received the classic "not the right cultural fit" rejection email.
At my current firm, our new (Indian) CTO has hired at least a dozen Indian engineers, a couple middle eastern engineers and not a single white person. That's not a coincidence, that's a statistical anomaly... and an obvious bias.
But nobody wants to talk about that kind of racism because it's not politically correct and doesn't fit the mainstream narrative that wants to keep fueling Jim Crow-style racism, which largely doesn't exist anymore except in the eyes of the left-wing media.
I assure you, Black men and women are not doing great. We are at 7% unemployment which is 3% than the national average.
I really love how people who have never and can never experience racism are always trying to define what it is and how it feels and effects those who have to deal with it on a daily basis.
I’ve been on the receiving end of racism in the hiring process and on the job.

Liars believe in lies, even lies about themselves! It is a world wide epidemic and has been since the beginning! The debate about the beginning based on opinions is a major part of the catalyst of the identity crisis that they who are of this world are bound to be overcome by! Love thy neighbor as you love yourself! If the love you love yourself with is subpar to real love it can only be because they are deceived into believing that the love of not being connected to the true source of love that supplies some of many that can effect the rest with the supply of being fit for true power that is never and has never been prevailed against by evil? So it is rejected and slaughtered by the greedy believing in the impossible which is that it will not work just because they don’t FEEL like it will! Many say they are connected for the sake of making money having made merchandise of you though it is nothing more than a supply of what causes war starting instigations! Love demands true connection to it in order to properly love others without the effect of what causes stains and scars and bewilderment! People in authority live out those unhealed wounds and bruises assigned by evil to cause a massive following. It is a world wide epidemic! “Identity Crisis” “Masked without knowing it” “A life time of rejecting of what could be intervening glimpses toward their own liberation” “Evil believes in what it is doing yet cannot over come the true light” A world wide epidemic!
