I currently work at Publicis and have been with the company for close to two years. I was recently accepted into a university program, but the classes are only offered during the day.

I’m trying to understand whether moving into a part-time arrangement at Publicis is something that’s ever possible, and how best to navigate that conversation internally.

Has anyone explored something similar or seen this work before? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Any other 60 yr old unemployed life long techies out there? I have to admit, being unemployed at 60 is a bit expressing. I've started a couple business that went no where. And freelance isn't as easy as I thought it would be. I welcome your comments

Moving from a boutique (<30 employees, MBB competitor) to the strategy practice of a Big 4. Have only worked for boutiques in the past, so I’m expecting there to be some major differences in terms of working style.

What are the major differences and ‘watch outs’ you would point out to me? Could be anything from culture, to red tape, to compliance etc.

First-year tax staff that started end of Q3, and just had my first year-end performance evaluation meeting. Still a blank slate in terms of tax experience, but I honestly do have a slight interest in international tax. Brought it up and I was given some names to find some work opportunities in that area. Besides SALT, any other specialized areas I should try to get some experience in? Also open to any tips and tricks to help tailor my workflow and experiences for the months to come.
