I’m interviewing for an in-house PR role (mostly content/media relations) at a digital company. I’ve had 3 interviews so far and completed one extensive writing assessment (800-word article). I’m pretty sure I have the job, and had a great interview with VP of Corp. Comms. today. She mentioned she had no hesitations about my qualifications. But the HR mgr said they now want me to do a 2nd assessment “just to dot their i’s” and they want a 750-word release by Monday. Is this normal?

I really aspire to be like Robin Boyd one day and help people. I know the problem is multifaceted but I wish there had been examples like her for me when I was even younger.
